Mr. Kang is well known of from his previous distribution of MPC Asia and his success as a coach of team Dae Dong Chang Won Gyung Nam which consist of several national team skaters. His decision to switch to distributing Luigino and Atom was made complete during the 2009 World Championships in Hianing China (image #1) where he witnessed the overpowering results of the new Atom iQ wheel and its superior technology. Other important factors in his decision to distribute Luigino and Atom was the overall quality of Luigino Boots and Skates. For the first time, Kang is poised to have the best wheels as well as boots AND skates. Inline Sport will be the only distributor in Korea to offer a custom made boot, the #1 track and road wheel, world class racing boots and intermediate to elite level skate packages!

Nistevo is sensitive to the difficulties meeting the demands of our #1 inline speed skating country. Korea has slowly taken over the inline race scene, now dominating the world championships in nearly every aspect. With this in mind, it was imperative to have the most intuitive and well respected person and company supporting Luigino and Atom at the forefront of Korea's speed skating market. In associating ourselves with Kang and Inline Sport, we have achieved this goal.

Korean skaters are as much in tune with products as they are their bodies. Korean speed skaters and Luigino Racing share a common denominator in that they are both continually working on improving and enhancing skating performance. As athletes are pushing their bodies to the max, striving for more speed, we here at Nistevo are researching and developing products to support and augment their efforts.

During the recent 2009 World Championships in Hianing China, 10 Korean National Team skaters were molded and fit for custom Luigino boots. (image #2) The resulting overwhelming success of Luigino's custom boots during the Championships initiated a specific meeting in Korea (image #3) for a 3 day molding session. Luigino Verducci arrived January 11 where he molded 20 additional Korean skaters, most of which are on the Jr. and Sr. national team. (image #4) A short 28 days later, ALL custom boots were delivered!

Kang and the athletes agreed to select a color which has never been used in our standard Luigino line up. The unanimous decision was GOLD, befitting their championship mindset. Luigino Racing produced both Ultra Challenge (images #8/9) and Challenge (images #6/7) custom boots in gold. This unique look provides Luigino a 'One-of-a-Kind' presence on the track.

Look for the 'Gold Rush' in Korea 2010!
